Antakelig en Artillery model, som ble tatt inn til statlig arsenal og fikk løpet nedkortet til 5.5 tommer, og som siden har fått sveiset på en løpsbite av en eller annen nærmest pervers grunn.

PRE 1899 2 RARE .22 IVER JOHNSON DEFENDER 89 Spur Trigger Revolvers IJ 22 7 Shots Each. Goforth in his definitive text on Iver Johnson states on page 4 in regards to Defender 89 revolvers, "Although I have only examined square butt models with hard rubber grip panels, some collectors say they have seen Bird's head grip models with the name Defender 89 molded into hard rubber grip panels". If you are interested in this auction you may already have W.E. Goforth's book, if not, find a copy and take a look because these two little revolvers are rare. The square butt suicide special has about 95% plating and shows a # 38 under the grip panel. Grips are fine. This is a fairly uncommon revolver. The bird's head gripped gun is serial # 690. 90% plating remains. Some plier marks on the barrel. This little .22 is rare. Grips are great. Both revolvers are mechanically fine.

(2) 6-Shot .32 caliber Harrington and Richardson revolvers. Timing is good on both, and one of the pistols functions well in both single and double-action mode. The one with the broken trigger guard only operates in double action, and the trigger does not return forward on it's own. I think the issues it has may be related to the broken trigger guard, but I don't know a whole lot about these old pistols. Revolvers are both antique, manufactured prior to 1898, and no FFL is required
